My Leadership Style
TL;DR: I roll people-first servant leadership style 😎
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with headcounts of 1 to 500+. Understanding how to build a scalable organization while maintaining a positive and inclusive culture is the cornerstone of any business's success.
As a manager, I do my best to pair the team with projects they would enjoy, play to their strengths, and/or stretches them in their role. By aligning business goals with their personal & professional aspirations, I can build in a sustainable way to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
You don’t have to be a UX unicorn to be successful, there’s a reason they don’t actually exist 🦄
I believe people thrive in a culture that promotes psychological safety and mental wellness. Building strong resilient teams start with trusting them with full autonomy and ownership of their work.
I bring my authentic self to work (tbh, I don’t know how else to operate). This means being open and honest with my team and providing timely direct feedback. Regularly scheduled design retrospectives are prioritized to identify where our opportunities are and how we could improve our processes.
I support their career growth, trajectory, and velocity by setting clear expectations & goals and providing consistent mentorship & coaching.
It is my mission to build extraordinary teams of future design leaders.
